The mission of JMLC is to explore the concepts of well-structured programming
languages and software, and those of teaching good design and programming
style. We are especially interested in the construction of large and distributed
software systems. We also invite papers on software engineering aspects in
new and dynamic application areas, such as multimedia and pervasive systems.
We encourage authors to present innovative, lean and efficient solutions.
Main topics are:
| |
New architectural concepts beyond object-orientation |
| |
Component architectures |
| |
Compilers, tools and software development environments |
| |
Language concepts to aid modularization |

Teaching of good design and the role of computer science at universities |
| |
Special software engineering aspects of new application areas such as
multimedia and pervasive systems |
| |
Formal aspects of software architectures |

Case studies and industrial applications |
Original papers focusing on
these issues and on other aspects of modular languages are solicited until
February 16, 2003 (Sunday).
See submission details at "Submission Details".
We
plan to organize a vendors' session and industrial demonstrations. Companies
being interested to participate in the vendors' session or to present a demonstration
or both, should submit their proposal to Mr Ulrich (jmlc@infopuls.com).
