17th Feb. 2003: Submission is closed!
Authors will be notified of acceptance around April, 30th.
Submitted papers are expected to present original, unpublished work that is not simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere. Papers should not exceed 10 pages and should be submitted electronically (as a single pdf file). Short papers should not exceed 4 pages.
The recommended form of submission is via our submission site, which will be opened not later than at the beginning of January 2003. In exceptional cases the paper can be submitted via e-mail (email@example.com) or via snail-mail (Institute of Information Technology, University Klagenfurt, Universitätsstraße 65-67, A-9020 Klagenfurt).
Papers should indicate the topic(s) they belong to.
All accepted papers will be available at the conference in the proceedings published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Previous proceedings of JMLC from recent years appeared as LNCS volumes. Since the LNCS are also published in full electronic version, authors of accepted papers will be expected to submit the source files of all parts of the manuscript in addition to the camera-ready paper.
Document preparation instructions and style files are available from Springer at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html resp. at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/instruct/typeinst.pdf.
