The scope of the Joint Modular Languages Conference (JMLC) is "programming
in the large" and in particular the development of high quality software
systems using modular techniques, object-oriented techniques and beyond. The JMLC
has already a tradition. Earlier issues were held in:
- 1987,
Bled, Slovenia
- 1990,
Loughborough, Great Britain
- 1994,
Ulm, Germany
- 1997,
Linz, Austria
- 2000,
Zürich, Switzerland
The name of the conference is under discussion. A new name, proposed by Niklaus
Wirth is: Programming Methodology and Languages (PMLC). We might agree on that
in Klagenfurt.
